Denim that comes back around

Denim is one of the most produced fabrics in the world, and one of the most thrown away. Recycling it began with shredding scraps for padding and insulation. Better sorting and spinning now let that fibre go back into denim itself.

How it's made

Worn jeans and factory offcuts are sorted by colour, stripped of rivets and zips, then mechanically shredded into fibre. That fibre is blended with longer cotton for strength, spun, and woven into a new indigo twill, often needing little extra dye.

Made from reclaimed cotton denim fibers, often blended with new cotton or synthetic fibers to enhance durability. Recycled denim reduces waste, diverting discarded denim from landfills and reducing the need for new resources.

How it feels

Durable, breathable, and soft. Recycled denim maintains the classic denim look and feel but has a slightly unique texture due to the variation in reclaimed fibers. It’s eco-friendly and can exhibit unique color variations or textures, adding character to each piece.

Ideal for Apparel (jeans, jackets, shorts), Accessories (bags, hats), and eco-friendly Home Textiles (upholstery, pillow covers). Recycled denim is commonly used in sustainable fashion, especially for products aimed at reducing textile waste.

Caring for it

Machine wash cold and air dry to preserve the fabric and reduce energy consumption. Avoid bleach; recycled denim may have a unique fade over time. Low iron if needed; natural texture adds to its eco-aesthetic.
