Fruit crops like bananas and pineapples leave behind large amounts of leaves and stems after every harvest. Pineapple-leaf fibre has long been woven into fine piña cloth in the Philippines. FRUT FIBER™ builds on that idea at a larger scale, blending fruit-crop fibres into modern fabric.

How it's made

Leaves and stems are collected after harvest, and their fibres are extracted, cleaned and softened. The fibres are blended and spun into yarn for knitted or woven fabric.

What it's made of

Composed of waste fibers derived from fruits such as banana leaf fibre and pineapple leaf fibre. The fibers are sourced from agricultural waste, minimizing environmental impact.

How it feels

Soft and breathable with a smooth texture. Naturally hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin, with good moisture management properties. Often biodegradable and compostable.

Where it works

Ideal for Apparel (t-shirts, dresses), Accessories (bags, scarves), and eco-friendly products in wellness markets, particularly where biodegradable materials are desirable.

Caring for it

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Air dry or tumble dry on low to preserve fiber quality. Avoid bleach; low iron if necessary.
