Rainbow Coloured Pencil Set

Twelve cylindrical pencils stand upright in a single row, each held in its own narrow slot within a shallow square tray. The tray is a rigid cardboard box with a flat lift-off lid, its interior divided by thin dividers that keep the pencils parallel and evenly spaced. The pencils are slightly taller than the tray is deep, so their sharpened tips rest near the lower edge while the flat ends sit just above the rim.
