REGENERATIVE MERINO WOOL

REGENERATIVE MERINO WOOL

Regenerative merino wool comes from sheep raised on land managed to restore soil health and biodiversity. Merino is one of the finest, softest wools there is, and here the way it's farmed gives back to the landscape.

From Spain to the world

Merino sheep were bred in medieval Spain, where their fine wool was so valuable that exporting the animals was long forbidden. From the 18th century merinos spread to Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, which remain major producers of fine wool today.

How it's farmed

Regenerative grazing moves flocks between paddocks so grass can recover, keeping soil covered and roots deep. That builds soil carbon and supports biodiversity. The sheep are shorn once a year, and the wool is scoured, combed and spun into fine yarn.

What it's made of

100% Merino wool sourced from regenerative farming practices that focus on soil health, biodiversity, and carbon sequestration. Regenerative Merino is produced with a commitment to environmental sustainability.

How it feels

Soft, breathable, and naturally insulating. Merino wool is moisture-wicking, odor-resistant, and highly durable, providing warmth without bulk. Regenerative Merino is known for its soft texture , making it ideal for high-quality garments

Where it works

Ideal for Apparel (sweaters, base layers, activewear, outerwear), Accessories (scarves, hats, gloves), and Home Textiles (throws, blankets). Perfect for products that emphasize quality, comfort, and environmental responsibility.

Caring for it

Hand wash or machine wash cold on a gentle wool cycle with a mild wool detergent. Lay flat to dry; avoid tumble drying to prevent shrinkage. Low iron if necessary. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can damage the wool fibers.

Certification

Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) to ensure animal welfare and environmental impact standards. Certifications related to regenerative agriculture practices may also apply, verifying sustainable land management.
