Finnish fibre innovation
Infinited Fiber Company was spun out of VTT, the Technical Research Centre of Finland, in 2016 to scale a way of turning cellulose waste into new fibre. Infinna has since appeared in collections from fashion brands testing circular materials.
How it's made
Cotton-rich waste is broken down and treated to release its cellulose, which is converted into cellulose carbamate. That is dissolved and spun into new fibre, then made into yarn and fabric like conventional fibres.
What it's made of
Made from 100% textile waste, Infinna™ is a regenerated fiber that mimics the look and feel of cotton, offering a circular solution by transforming discarded textiles into new fibers. Infinite Fiber
How it feels
Soft, breathable, and comfortable with a natural look and feel similar to cotton. Infinna™ fibers are biodegradable and can be recycled in the same process alongside cotton-rich textile waste, promoting a circular textile economy. Infinite Fiber
